Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating an armed robbery at the Citgo station located at the 4-way stop in Strawberry. Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting the robbery shortly after 9 pm on Friday night.
According to reports a masked suspect entered the store brandishing a weapon demanding money. A light color or possibly white SUV was used as a getaway vehicle according to reports.
Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Yates along with several deputies are in the area at this time searching for the vehicle and investigating the crime.
