Williams Baptist College will hold its 2016 commencement exercises on Saturday, May 7, when an estimated 90 graduates will receive their diplomas. The graduation ceremony begins at 10 a.m., in WBC’s Southerland-Mabee Center.

Dr. Heather Moore, a 2003 WBC graduate, will be the commencement speaker. She is a medical doctor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She is also a member of the Williams Board of Trustees.

R. J. Platz, a graduating senior from Lake City will deliver the student perspective.

WBC’s Golden Eagles, alumni who attended Williams 50 or more years ago, will also be honored at the ceremony. As has become tradition at the Williams commencement exercises, the Golden Eagles will march in with this year’s graduates.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
