Shortly before 4 pm on Sunday a second multi-vehicle accident on Hwy 412 just outside Walnut Ridge has claimed one life and injured two others.
Walnut Ridge Fire, Walnut Ridge Police, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies and Arkansas State Police all responded after the incident was reported.
Reports state that three individuals were transported to the hospital, one of those died from injuries. Representatives from the power company were called to the scene for damaged power poles. Hwy 412 was closed as the accident was being investigated by the Arkansas State Police. Names of the injured and killed have not been released pending notification of family.
