One Vehicle Rollover Outside Imboden Sends One To Area Hospital
At 7:42 pm on Monday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle rollover accident between Imboden and Ravenden on Hwy 63 with injuries.
Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was paged and sent to the scene. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies, Arkansas State Police and medical units were also sent to the scene. Firefighters arriving on scene requested a medical helicopter to respond, a landing zone was set up for the unit to land. Hwy 63 was shut down as emergency workers removed the injured from the accident.
Medical units arrived at 8:04 pm, at 8:14 pm the medical helicopter was reported to have landed at the landing zone awaiting the transfer of the patient from the accident scene. The injured was transported by helicopter to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
The accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police, names or extent of injuries has not been released. Dail’s Wrecker Service was requested to the scene to remove the vehicle. Imboden Fire was assisted by members of the Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department as well as the Ravenden Police Department.
