Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dive Team Members along with members of the Arkansas State Parks are expected to join the search for a missing Ravenden Springs man on Wednesday.
Lawrence County Office Of Emergency Services Director Buddy Williams stated that resources from both Lawrence County and the Arkansas State Parks were requested by Randolph County officials.
The search is centered around a missing Ravenden Springs man who left the scene of an accident near his home and was last scene at approximately 2 am Monday, Randolph County Sheriff’s Deputies searched the area throughout Monday but did not find the person identified as Kevin Decker DOB 8-8-1975. Decker was last scene by neighbors entering the woods wearing a red Cardinals t-shirt and red Cardinals pajama pants.
Williams stated that approximately 12 trained searchers will leave Lawrence County early Wednesday morning to meet up with Sheriff Gary Tribble, Fire Chief Kevin Montgomery and Randolph County OES Director Mike King. K-9 Units from Greene County are assisting the searchers late Monday with another group expected to meet up with the Lawrence County team around noon on Wednesday.
