At 5:48 am on Thursday morning the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a mobile home fire at 846 Hwy 90 in Ravenden. The Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department was paged and responded to the fire.
Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was paged for assistance, Ravenden arrived with it’s Engine 1 closely followed by it’s tanker truck. Imboden responded with it’s Engine 6 and several firefighters.
Units arrived on scene and quickly extinguished the blaze, the home sustained major damage. Firefighters were on scene until well up into the morning. No word on the cause of the fire, no injuries were reported.
