The suspect is the Arkansas State University armed standoff reportedly left alarming post on his Facebook page yesterday at 12:52 pm.

The suspected page was listed under Brad Bartelt of Jonesboro, the suspect name released today by Jonesboro Police was Bradley Kenneth Bartlet, 47 of Jonesboro. The incident at Arkansas State happened Thursday afternoon, at first this was announced as an active shoot but shortly after reports came in that the suspect was in his vehicle parked outside a building with a shotgun and possibly propane or gas cans in a truck with an American flag in the bed. Officers from Craighead County, Jonesboro, Trumann, Arkansas State Campus Police, Arkansas State Police and others responded to the scene and sealed off the area. The suspect continued his standoff for hours before surrendering to police. Students posted several videos on social media including pictures of the suspect exiting the vehicle with what appears to be shotgun. No shot were fired in the incident, no students were harmed. The lockdown continues as the bomb squad finishes up the search of the suspect vehicle.

In the post the suspect it discusses injuries sustained in an accident in August of 2012 at ASU Newport and apparently the suspect had disagreements with the Social Security Agency, Arkansas State University and a Federal Judge.
