According to Tina Stower’s Office, the official count on the two proposed taxes to fund and maintain the jail were approved by voters.
The 3/8 cent tax for the jail was approved by a vote of 834 for, 611 against. The 1/8 cent tax for to maintain the facility passed 844 for and 597 against.
Earlier Tina Stower’s told us that early voting was heavy for the special election with over 400 votes cast before the Nov 10th election.
