On October 15th investigators state that Amanda Blackburn of Hoxie left a court ordered treatment center in Jonesboro, later a 2005 Chevrolet truck was reported stolen near the treatment facility.

On October 16th the stolen vehicle was recovered by Lawrence County Deputies on a county road near Black Rock. Investigators discovered an attempt to set fire to the truck in an effort to destroy evidence. Investigators interviewed witnesses and the suspect discovering that Blackburn had taken the vehicle and at some point had picked up Ross Kirker of White Rock Road near Imboden (Randolph County).

Investigators alleged that before abandoning the vehicle Kiker made an attempt to set fire to the vehicle to destroy evidence of his and Blackburn’s involvement. Blackburn is charged with Theft by Receiving and currently has a $1500.00 bond and requirements to be placed on an ankle monitor upon release. Kiker is charged with criminal mischief 1st degree and criminal trespass and a bond of $10,000.
