At approximately 10:00 am this morning an individual saw a person matching the description of missing juvenile Johnnie Scales walking on hwy 115 between Smithville and Jesup. The Lawrence  County Sheriff’s Office was notified and deputies traveled to the area.
It was confirmed it was the missing juvenile Johnnie Scales. He was taken to the sheriffs office for questioning and his parents have been notified that he was found.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone for their efforts in sharing this story that resulted  in the fast and safe return of Johnnie Scales.
