On Oct. 24 an AARP drivers course will be held in the basement of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church located 6 miles south of Imboden. You must be 50 and older to attend. This will qualify you for a discount on your vehicle for 3 years. Members cost is 15 and non members of AARP is 20.00. Be sure to bring your driver’s license. Check with your insurance company to see what % you will save each 6 months. No pre registration, just show up at 8 am and park in the west end of the parking lot and the basement door will be available with no stairs. The course is about 4 1/2 hours long. Mr. Charles Abanathy will teach the class.
