The 9th annual Freedom in the Park Celebration in Imboden kicked off at 10:00am at the Imboden City Park.
This annual event is sponsored by S&H Quick Stop in Imboden.
Special Entertainment included local Musician Mike Mcleod, Billy Wayne and the Legends, entertainers from  the Imperial Theatre in Pocahontas, Sloan-Hendrix color guard, Sloan-Hendrix Music Program and other groups.
The Imboden Girl and Boy Scouts also provided a helping hand during the event. Imboden Boy Scouts posted the flag and led the pledge of allegiance . The scouts also provided the cleanup during and after the event.
Children enjoyed playing in the bounce house and the city park during the event.
On the menu were grilled the burgers and hot dogs, chips and drinks.
Freedom in the Park is created and organized by S&H Quick Stop owner Judy Henderson each year  to honor those serving in our military and our veterans. Freedom in the Park is a FREE event.

The Arkansas Fallen Hero Memorial was also in place here in Imboden this week and had many visitors during it’s time spent here.
