Aspiring performers will once again have the chance to show off their talent at the Beatles at the Ridge music festival in downtown Walnut Ridge. The popular Nuttin’ But Talent competition will return to the festival Saturday, September 19.
The competition kicks off at 1:45 p.m. on First National Bank’s Beatles Park Stage.
This year’s Nuttin’ But Talent is sponsored by East Arkansas Broadcasters, and it will be divided into two categories, musical and dance. First prize in each category is $250, with $150 for second place, $100 for third place and $50 for the people’s choice winner.
In addition, the winner of the musical category will open for the Liverpool Legends, the festival headliner. The first place act will perform their winning song at 7 p.m. on the Cavenaugh Chevrolet Rock ‘n’ Roll Highway Stage, just before the Liverpool Legends take the stage.
Those who want to take part in Nuttin’ But Talent need to sign up by Thursday, September 17. They can register at the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce on Front Street, and they can download a registration form at www.BeatlesAtTheRidge.com. The entry fee is $25.
The entire Beatles at the Ridge festival, including Nuttin’ But Talent, is free of charge to attend.
