At 9:52 am on Tuesday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a one vehicle accident just south of Imboden. The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department, AET Ambulance and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office were all dispatched to the accident on Hwy 63.
At 9:55 am firefighters arrived on scene to find the vehicle had struck a guard rail and had one lane of traffic blocked. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment. Dail’s Wrecker Service of Ravenden was requested to remove the damaged vehicle. Firefighters directed traffic until the lane was reopened, the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was back in service at 10:19 am.
