At 11:42 pm on Friday Night the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a structure fire on Memphis Street in Hoxie.
Hoxie Fire responded with several trucks and firefighters to the fire. According to Chief Chris Ditto the structure was not occupied at the time of the fire. Entergy and Centerpoint were called to the scene to turn off utilities. Firefighters were on scene for several hours extinguishing the flames.
The residence was a total loss, Medic One Ambulance was on standby at the scene, there were no injuries reported in the incident.
