New Hope Baptist Church will host “International Spy Academy: Special Agents for God”

New Hope Baptist Church will host “International Spy Academy: Special Agents for God” for

children age 4 through to those just finishing sixth grade. “The Academy” will be in operation

July 12­17 at the campus at 2720 Hwy. 117, between Black Rock and Smithville. A meal will be

served at 5:30 followed by special agent training from 6­9 pm Sunday through Thursday. Friday

night will be Academy graduation and parent night. There will be a Spy Gadget Store at the end of

graduation to redeem points earned during the week. Friday evening will begin at 6:00 pm with a

meal.

Activities will include classified crafts, physical activity games, special music, and Bible stories.

The mission project is Operation Christmas Child (OCC), a ministry of Franklin Graham’s

Samaritan’s Purse. “Agents” are encouraged to brings a gift (pencils, erasers, small car, bouncy

ball, hair accessories, etc.) to put in the OCC shoe boxes and bring their pennies for the penny
