(Walnut Ridge, Ark.) – Williams Baptist College has presented its 2015 Founders Awards to Sara Burchfield of Paragould and Coy Yasler of Ravenden. The awards were presented by Dr. Tom Jones, president of WBC, at the college’s annual graduates luncheon Friday, May 8th.
Founders Award winners are selected from each graduating class at Williams. Recipients are chosen by a vote of the faculty and administration as outstanding representatives of the college and its ideals.
Burchfield, who majored in missions at WBC, is the daughter of Samuel & Sharon Burchfield.
Yasler, a biology/pre-medicine major, is the son of Douglass & Bonnie Yasler.
WBC’s commencement exercises were held Saturday, May 9th.
Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
