Arkansas State Police Investigators and Lawrence County Investigators were called to a structure fire at 5960 Hwy 63 about a mile south of Ravenden after firefighter discovered the bodies of two individuals in a burning structure.
 
At 12:58 am the Lawrence County Dispatch received a call reporting the fire, Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department and Imboden Volunteer Fire and AET Ambulance of Imboden were dispatched to the scene of the fire. Ravenden arrived on the scene shortly after the page went out and advised the mobile home was completely engulfed in flames.
 
Deputies from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene to assist with traffic. At 1:32 am the Lawrence County Coroner was advised of the first victim and was in route to the scene, at 1:40 am the second victim was discovered. Shortly after the discovery of the victims, Sheriff Jeff Yates was notified along with investigators from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police who also .
 
As of early this morning investigators were still on scene at the fire, the names of the victims have not been released at this time pending notification of family members and the ongoing investigation.
