Shorty before 5 am on Sunday the Lawrence County Dispatch was advised of a burglar alarm going off at the Imboden Area Charter School. Deputies arrived on scene shortly after discovering that the building had been broken into.
Lawrence County Criminal Investigators were called out to conduct the investigation, according to Detective Jamie White the person or persons gained entry into the building by using a pry-bar to pry open the doors of the building. According to White, 20 dollars and some outdated snacks was all that was taken from the school. Investigators are looking around to area at surveillance cameras on other businesses hoping to catch a glimpse of the criminals. The Imboden Area Charter School has an alarm but does not have cameras.
