Investigators from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office today concluded their investigation into a burglary that occurred at a farm shop on Lawrence 611 with the arrest of two men.

Investigators took a report of several items missing including a chain saw, generator and pressure washer in early January. Investigators also released a surveillance photo taken during the break-in and ask for the publics assistance in identifying the suspect. Tips received from the photo led to a suspect being developed, investigators then called the suspect in for questioning. During the interview the suspect not only admitted to the crime but also named an accomplice. Investigators today called that subject in for questioning and he too admitted to the crime.

Jeremy Whitehead of Hoxie was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering and Theft of Property, he was taken before a judge and issued a $1500 cash or pro bond. Whitehead was held in the Lawrence County Jail until he met bond and was released with a court date. The second suspect, Jonathan Cullum of Walnut Ridge was arrested today and is currently being housed in the Lawrence County Jail awaiting his bond hearing.
