At 1:24 am on Tuesday the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a structure fire at a residence next to the Will Ponder residence on Spring River Circle. Ravenden responded with it’s Brush Truck, Engine and Tanker and was on seen in a matter of minutes. Ravenden Police also responded and was quickly on scene at the blaze.
Firefighters requested Imboden be placed on standby, once Ravenden arrived on scene firefighters described the residence as fully engulfed. Firefighters turned their attention to saving surrounded structures in the area. Imboden was requested for additional manpower. Entergy was requested to respond to the area to deal with fallen electrical line on the scene. According to reports the residence was a total loss, initial reports stated their were no injuries. At 1:47 am the Imboden Fire Department reported they were on scene and were closely followed by it’s Engine 6 and Rescue 4 truck. Fire Departments were on scene for several homes containing the blaze from spreading.
