On November 13th, The Hoxie Police Department and Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office teamed up to make an arrest of Jacob Warren, 32 of Hoxie. Warren is charged with Felony Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone) and Use of a Communication Device while committing a Felony.
The charges stem from an undercover investigation conducted by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Hoxie Police Department. According to reports, the Hoxie Police Department began the investigation and gathered information of the illegal drug activity, Hoxie then requested the assistance of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. The two departments then completed the investigation and Warren was arrested and charged.
Warren has a criminal background dating back to 2005 with charges including several Parole/Probation violations, Breaking or Entering, Theft of Property and Theft by Receiving. Warren was taken to the Lawrence County Jail to await a Bond Hearing and have a court date set.
