Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office today entered an official “Missing Person†report today after no signs of Steven Liles have been reported since Friday.
Authorities on Saturday conducted a search in the Strangers Home/Alicia in hopes of finding Liles. Steven Liles personal possessions were found by officers along Lawrence County Road 547 and 550. Family members along with Sheriff’s Deputies, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Dive Team and local fire departments have continued the search since Liles left a residence in Black Rock on Thursday and then was seen in the Alicia area Thursday and Friday. The last sighting of Liles is believed to be around 4 pm on Friday in the area of Strangers Home walking with a suitcase, the case was later recovered in the area of the last sighting in a ditch.
