According to Sheriff Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Jackie Brown formerly of the Ravenden area was arrested in Michigan on outstanding warrants out of Lawrence County.
Brown was wanted for Revocation of Probation on Fraud/Deceit and Procurement of Narcotics. Brown was sentenced to Drug Court according to Dotson but she then fled from the area years ago. Brown was arrested in Michigan after an anonymous tip to local police stating she was wanted. Brown was then arrest and held over for Lawrence County. According to Sheriff Dotson the suspect was transported back to Lawrence County on Monday.
