Several HIPPY parents and their children gathered for a field trip to the Imboden Fire Department where they learned about fire prevention and safety. The children also enjoyed exploring the fire truck.
HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) is a free preschool educational program sponsored by the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative. Parents receive free books and materials to work with their preschool children at home. A child may be enrolled in a preschool center and still qualify to participate in HIPPY.
