Powhatan Historic State Park Hosts Ghost Walks

Nearly everyone has heard the rumor that Powhatan’s Courthouse is haunted. On Saturday, October 18, you can find out for yourself. Park staff invites the public to come out from 7 until 10 p.m. for a Ghost Walk. Guests can tour each of the town’s five historic buildings, hearing ghost stories at each site. Some of the stories are adapted from traditional folk tales, but others may be true. It’s up to you to find out!
Admission to the Ghost Walk is $2 for Adults, $1 for children 6-12, and under 6 is free. Park staff will also be selling fresh kettle corn and old-fashioned candy. For more information, call Powhatan Historic State Park at (870) 878-6765 or email powhatan@arkansas.com.
