At 7:25 pm the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call from S&H Quick Shop in Imboden. The caller requested deputies to respond to the store. An off duty Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputy recognized a suspect from an incident last night in Black Rock and detained the suspect. The Black Rock search went well into the early morning hours and included several LCSO Deputies, the Black Rock Police Department and Arkansas State Police.
Michael Sorg was detained by the off duty officer with assistance of a Imboden Fireman at the store while deputies responded. Sorg was placed into the custody of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputy and transported to the Lawrence County Jail where he will be formally charged with his fleeing incident and will also have to face is parole/probation violation charges.
