On May 29, 2014 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Michael Wilson ,age 52, of Powhatan on charges of possession of a prohibited weapon, residential burglary, terroristic threatening, and violation of a court order.
The arrest comes after an Imboden resident called 911 and reported a man in her residence with a knife threatening to kill her. Deputies responded to the residence and found Wilson at the residence. The resident was hiding inside a bedroom of the house.
Deputies found a large switch blade knife on Wilson. Deputies took a statement from the resident and Wilson was transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
A records check showed that the resident had a no contact order against Wilson and that Wilson had been arrested before on domestic abuse charges.
