On Sat. May 10th the Sloan-Hendrix PTE ran a concession stand at the Tri County Blow Out Cattle Show on the Sloan-Hendrix campus. The proceeds of the concession stand went to a student who has recently been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
The PTE would like to thank all of the following business for donating and/or deleting supplies: Jetta Bell owner of Annie Bell’s Restaurant in Lynne, Greenway Equipment in Walnut Ridge, Imboden Medical Clinic, Murphy’s Dental in Imboden, M &M Sales in Imboden,Well’s Reality in Imboden, Hay’s in a Walnut Ridge, Wendell Jones, owner of Daylight Donuts in Walnut Ridge and Murphy’s Excavating.
The PTE also recognizes the following students for volunteering their day: Dustin Harris and Hunter Stallings.
The PTE would like to thank the many volunteers that helped set up, serve, and take down the concession stand.
The proceeds were given to the Gholson Family at the PTEs end of the year cook out on May 19th.
