Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. Mrs. Sue Dail’s social studies classes at Sloan-Hendrix,  participated in Earth Day by doing a campus clean-up. The students picked up trash on all parts of the Sloan-Hendrix campus as well as the Imboden City Park. Mrs. Dail plans to reward them for their hard work with a free from work play day at the park.
