(Walnut Ridge, Ark.) – Approximately 115 graduates will receive their diplomas when Williams Baptist College holds its commencement exercises on Saturday, May 3. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in WBC’s Southerland-Mabee Center.
The speaker will be Dr. Glen Putman, pastor of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Putman will also be honored as the college’s 2014 Distinguished Baptist Minister during the day’s ceremonies.
Williams graduates of 50 or more years will also be recognized at the ceremony as WBC’s Golden Eagles.
WBC is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
