Shortly after 8 pm the Walnut Ridge Fire Department was paged to a fire at the Alamo Courts Motel in Walnut Ridge. The fire department responded with several trucks including it’s Tower One.
Initial reports indicate that the fire was contained to the attic area, firefighters are still on scene at this time. Walnut Ridge Police and Lawrence County Deputies are in the area assisting with traffic control.
No reports of any injuries at this time, the cause of the fire has not been determined at this time. Medical units are also on standby at the scene.
