Shortly before 4 pm on Saturday, the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a house fire at the Perrin residence located in the 12000 block of Hwy 62 just outside of Imboden.
According to Asst. Chief Jim Jones, Imboden responded with several trucks and firefighters, Ravenden was next on scene with trucks and manpower also Water Valley sent a truck with water and Pocahontas Rural responded. Jones stated that the amount of personnel that responded probably saved the home. A flue caught on fire and the home sustained damage but was saved with minimal structure damage.
Firefighters were on scene for a couple hours before clearing the scene, Asst. Chief Jones also reported their were no injuries.
