On Monday, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office traveled to the Illinois Correctional Facility in Galesburg Illinois to retrieve Grant Charles Larson. Investigators obtained a warrant for Larson after he allegedly stole a 2004 Ford Mustang from a residence along with 2 firearms, beer and Cheetos.
Larson’s companion, Jessica Huff was charged for her involvement and returned to Lawrence County after she was arrested in Illinois in September. The stolen vehicle was recovered after Larson and Huff got into a domestic in Davenport Iowa on May 23rd, the couple fled and left the vehicle, police ran the VIN number and identified the vehicle to be stolen out of Arkansas.
Larson was arrested and held on a parole violation in Illinois, he was released after serving his sentence to Lawrence County. Sheriff Dotson stated Larson received a bond hearing on Thursday, bond was set at $40,000 and a November 21st Court Date was set. Larson is currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail.
