On Tuesday evening, using undercover informants, warrants were obtained for a residence in Walnut Ridge. A joint operation was conducted with LCSO, Walnut Ridge PD and the Hoxie PD to raid the suspected drug house.
Officers arrested Douglas Sosbe, 47 of Walnut Ridge, Richard Hutchison, 23 of Walnut Ridge and Dennis Flowers, 18 of Jonesboro. All were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. Flowers was also charged with Use of a Communication Device to commit a Felony.
According to Sheriff Jody Dotson, a large amount of Marijuana was found individually packaged and ready to sell along with several items used to ingest drugs. Dotson also added that information gathered during the investigation indicated the drugs were being sold to local high school students and underage individuals.
