An investigation over the weekend ends with Herschel Davis Sr. age 50 of Imboden being arrested and taken to the Lawrence County Jail. Investigators from Lawrence County, assisted by the Hoxie Police Department and Black Rock Police Department, using an undercover informant conducted the investigation that led to Davis’ arrest.
Information obtained during the investigation was presented to the Judge and a search warrant was issued for Davis’ residence located on 1st Street in Imboden. Officers surrounded the residence shortly after 10 pm on Sunday. Davis was taken into custody without incident. The search of the residence yielded drugs, paraphernalia and multiple firearms.
Herschel Davis was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Use of a Communication Device to commit a Felony and Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms.
