At 12:27 pm on Wednesday, the Lawrence County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a wreck on Hwy 25 with injuries. The Lynn Fire Department, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police and AET Ambulance were all notified.

Officers arrived in the area of Old Lebanon Cemetery on Hwy 25 to find an overturned trailer and a 3-wheeled motorcycle overturned in the ditch, officers then learned that the motorhome that had been pulling the trailer was located south of Lynn at a residence approximately 4 to 5 miles from the initial scene.

The driver of the motorhome was flown to Methodist Hospital in Jonesboro, suffering from seizures and chest pains. A Female passenger was transported to White River Medical Center in Batesville with what was described as non-life threatening injuries. According to reports, the female passenger was in the bedroom of the motorhome when the accident occurred.

The motorhome had left Lake Charles State Park, as it traveled around the curve south of Old Lebanon Cemetery, the vehicle ran off the right shoulder of the road striking a highway sign before reentering the highway, at that time the trailer that was hauling the motorcycle became disconnected from the motorhome, flipping the trailer and losing it’s cargo. For unknown reasons, the driver did not stop and continued for several miles before stopping the damaged RV.

The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
