The 7th annual Freedom in the Park Celebration in Imboden kicked off at 10:00am at the Imboden City Park.
This annual event is sponsored by S&H Quick Stop in Imboden.
Special Entertainment included local Musician Mike Mcleod, the Cody Noel Band from Paragould, cloggers from the Imperial Theatre in Pocahontas, Sloan-Hendrix color guard, and other groups.
The Imboden Girl and Boy Scouts also provided a helping hand during the event. Imboden Boy Scouts posted the flag and led the pledge of allegiance . Angie Roberts sang the national anthem.
The sound system was provided by JR Rogers. Children enjoyed playing in the bounce house and the city park during the event.
The Lawrence County ATOD Coalition had a table set up and handed out Frisbees , pencils , and other materials.
Pig-N-Out BBQ of Imboden grilled the burgers and hot dogs and  the 7up concession wagon was donated to use at the event this year.
Freedom in the Park is created and organized by S&H Quick Stop owner Judy Henderson each year  to honor those serving in our military and our veterans. Freedom in the Park is a FREE event.
