September 12, 2013 marked an Open House for The Hotel Rhea and The Venue in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Located at 117 West Main Street, downtown Walnut Ridge The Hotel Rhea has been renovated by the Snapp family and is a very welcome addition to the Lawrence County area.
Guided tours were given of the renovated historic lodgings. The original Hotel Rhea took up most of the 100 block of West Main Street in Walnut Ridge, before it was all but destroyed by fire in 1914.

The Hotel Rhea now offers all  new electrical and plumbing systems throughout the property, plus modern amenities such as  flat screen TVs, Wi-Fi and electric fireplaces.
The four suites include three one room suites and one two room suite for guests to choose from. All of the beautifully styled suites offer a butler’s kitchen with microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge, bathroom, sitting area, flat screen TV’s, and cable.

On the first floor  of The Hotel Rhea, “The Venue” is available for lease for private functions, parties and special events and offers the added convenience of a state inspected commercial kitchen.
