Our first meet on Tuesday at Heber Springs was a hot one! 31 athletes competed in the sun and dust with two Medalist/Top Ten Finishers; Logan McCain 6th and Tyler Murphy 10th in Class 1A-4A division. Each race had over 100 runners competing.
Other top finishers for Sloan-Hendrix: Jr. Girls – Courtney Winston 29th, Maddyson Lamb 32nd, Brenda McCain 33rd, and Haley Meeks 46th. Jr. Boys – Logan McCain 6th, Tyler Murphy 10th, Hunter Stallings 32nd, Matthew Helms 39th, Jordan Dail 48th, and Aaron Benzen 49th. Sr. Girls – Jessie Powell 36th Sr. Boys – Ben Small 30th and Zack Anderson 49th.
Sloan-Hendrix has their next meet on September 17 at Greers Ferry Westside and then run at Davidsonville State Park on September 24.
