On June 28, 2013 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stephanie Roberts,age 27,Kelsey Hanshaw ,age 21 and Carson Gates ,age 20 all from Walnut Ridge.
Charges are delivery of meth, possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and use of a communication device to commit a felony.
Gates is also charged with escape and possession of heroin.
The arrests came after Lawrence County Deputies conducted investigations into drug sales and conducted undercover drug buys from the subjects. Both females were arrested and transported to the Lawrence County Jail without incident.
Gates was placed under arrest and transported back to his residence to retrieve more drugs. At the residence deputies found more drugs including heroin and more drug paraphernalia. Gates was in pink handcuffs and was able to break away from the deputies. Deputies chased Gates on foot but were unable to catch up to him. Gates was wearing a black shirt and black pants along with pink handcuffs when he escaped from the deputies.
