Pvt. Jacob F. Bartlett completed his Army basic training on Friday, June 21, 2013. His scores were at Expert level. He will graduate the Advanced Individualized Training on July 26, 2013 in Fort Benning, GA. Jacob is the son of Calvin and Donna Bartlett of Ravenden and the grandson of Oscar and Goldie Bartlett also of Ravenden. Jacob is a 2010 graduate of Oak Ridge Central High School in Ravenden Springs. To celebrate his basic training commencement, the Army’s Charlie Co 2-19th Infantry Division allowed the young Private a 36-hour pass. Jacob’s parents and his brother, Danny, met him in Fort Benning for the celebration.
