On June 11, 2013 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Gray, age 28 and Colynda Lyons
age 50 both of Imboden on charges of possession of controlled substance (meth), possession of controlled
substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gray was also wanted on an Alias Bench
warrant for prior drug charges. Lyons is also being charged with hindering apprehension. The arrest
stems from a call from Gray’s bondsmen wanting to surrender the bond on Gray for the Alias Bench
warrant. The bondsman told deputies that Gray was staying at Lyons residence in Imboden. Deputies
went to the residence and spoke with Lyons about the information they had. Lyons told deputies that
Gray was not there and she had not seen him. A quick walk through of the residence turned up Gray
hiding in Lyons bedroom closet. Deputies placed Gray under arrest and found meth in his pocket.
Deputies then asked Lyons about any other illegal substances in the residence. A check of the residence
turned up marijuana, more meth and drug paraphernalia used to ingest both meth and marijuana. Lyons
was also placed under arrest and both subjects were transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a
bond hearing. Gray’s Alias Bench warrant carried a $10,000 bond.
