On April 16, 2013 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Benjamin Walker (21) of Strawberry for breaking and entering, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, fleeing and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest comes from a concerned citizen at Lynn calling in a suspicious person messing around the old Shelia’s Quick Shop. Deputies responded and found Walker at the building. When deputies asked Walker for his information and what he was doing at the building he took off running. Deputies chased Walker for some distance before catching him. Deputies then took Walker back to the building and found where Walker had broken into the building. Walker had in his possession a marijuana pipe. Walker was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
