Around 7:00 pm Friday night , the Lawrence County Dispatch Center received a call reporting a semi truck overturned on Hwy. 63 in Imboden near the Imboden Church Of Christ. It was reported that fuel was leaking out of the semi.
The overturned semi took down several power lines causing a power outage in Imboden with approximately 500 homes and businesses losing electricity.
The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident along with units from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, AET Ambulance of Imboden and the Arkansas State Police.
The truck carried  thousands of pounds of dog food . No other vehicles were involved in the accident and no serious injuries were reported at this time.
Power was  restored at approximately 7:50 pm.
At 8:50 pm Imboden Volunteer Fire Department shut down traffic on Hwy. 63 for the truck to be removed from the scene.
