Imboden Fire Department Responds To A Juvenile Kicked In Head By Horse
At 6:30 pm on Monday, the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was contacted by the Lawrence County Dispatch and asked to respond to an address on Old Union Road in Randolph County.
Initial reports were a 11 year old female kicked in the head by a horse, Imboden responded with it’s Rescue 3 and several firemen along with AET Ambulance of Imboden. While in route to the scene, firemen requested a medical helicopter respond. Air Evac accepted the flight and lifted off from West Plains Missouri in route to a landing zone set up by firefighters on the scene.
Once the helicopter arrived on scene, the patient was loaded onto the helicopter by firefighters and medics and flown to an area hospital, the extent of the injuries is not known at this time.
