Pursuit From Randolph County Is Ended By Lawrence County Deputy’s Roadblock
Details on this dangerous pursuit are just coming in, what we do know is that at 6:32 pm the Lawrence County Dispatch was notified of a pursuit headed towards Lawrence County on Hwy 62 towards Imboden.
The suspect vehicle was a silver Impala with Michigan license plates, the plates came back to a missing person in Michigan, authorities are still investigating the vehicle. The vehicle was heading towards Imboden at an estimated 130 MPH.
Lawrence County Deputy Blake Liscomb was in the Imboden area where the call came out, he quickly went to the Spring River Bridge and blocked it. Units from LCSO, Walnut Ridge, Ravenden Police Department and Arkansas State Police converged on the Imboden area.
As the vehicle rounded the last curve before Imboden, the driver noticed the bridge was blocked by Liscomb’s vehicle, it locked up the brakes, skidding to a stop and the three occupants fled on foot. Within minutes all three were in custody.
The identities of the suspects have not been released at this time, the investigation is ongoing. There were no injuries reported in the chase.
