On November 20, 2012 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shelly Summitt (48) of Walnut Ridge and Anna Doyle (40) of Black Rock for possession of a controlled substance (meth ice) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest comes from a traffic stop near Powhatan. The deputy ran a check on both subjects and found out they had suspended drivers license and that Summitt was on probation and that Doyle was out on a felony bond. Summitt asked to speak with the deputy and told him that she had meth on her. Summitt pulled out 2 bags of meth and gave to the deputy. Summitt then told the deputy that Doyle also had meth inside her vagina. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail. Once at the jail the jail matron on duty searched Doyle and she did in fact have a bag of meth inside her vagina. Both subjects were booked into the jail and are awaiting a bond hearing.
