Imboden Fire Chief Chris Jones has stated that the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department and the City of Imboden will once again sponsor the Halloween Block Party in Imboden.
This will be the 6th Annual Block Party, in a conversation with Chief Jones he stated that the biggest reason that the Fire Department and City Officials decided to extend the program was to offer a safe environment for the children.
Firefighters will block off 5th Street at Hwy 115, South North Carolina, Georgia and Fair Park. Chief Jones ask for non-residents to park in the Church of Christ parking lot, City Park parking lot or at the Sloan Hendrix Gym.
As in years past, Sheriff Jody Dotson will have extra officers out in Imboden and other towns in Lawrence County on Halloween.
The Imboden Block Party will be from 6 to 8 pm on October 31st.
