The Arkansas Fallen Heroes Memorial currently in place here in Imboden for public viewing for the third year in a row.
The memorial is located on Hwy 63 across from S & H Quick Stop. The traveling memorial flag field includes an American flag for each fallen hero. In front of each flag is a post with a picture and short story of each fallen hero. This is a walk through memorial where not only do you read names but also you are able to see the face of each solider. This memorial flag field has traveled across Arkansas to numerous cities and towns and will continue on so more citizens can learn about the Fallen Heroes from Arkansas.
We encourage everyone to make a visit to the site during the next week and to attend Freedom in the Park an event created by Judy Henderson to honor our military troops which will take place this Saturday. Donations to the Fallen Heroes Memorial can be made at Freedom in the Park.
